Getting Started Guide

Turn your speech into live on-screen captions in a few steps.

1. Open the app and choose the language you'll be speaking.
2. Click "Start Transcription."
3. Speak naturally — your words appear on screen in real time.
4. Use Pause / Resume anytime, or Stop when you're done.

Free plan sessions are capped at 60 seconds — this applies to guests and free accounts alike. Upgrade to Pro or Diamond for unlimited session length.

Show a second, translated caption line alongside your transcription.

1. Turn on live translation.
2. Choose the language you're speaking (from) and the language to translate into (to).
3. Start transcribing as usual — the translated line updates alongside the original.

Live translation is a Diamond-plan feature. Free and Pro accounts see it locked with an option to upgrade.

Keep a searchable record of your sessions to revisit later.

1. After stopping a recording, click "Save Transcription" (available on Pro and Diamond).
2. Give it a title so you can find it later.
3. Search, review, or delete your saved transcriptions anytime from your saved transcriptions page.

Your session is also backed up automatically in the background while recording, so nothing is lost if your browser closes unexpectedly.
